I had a similar one on my f150. I think the first one is designed to be over the top and noticeable, flashy, like the rest of the truck.

Dually, so it’s not really meant for off road. Brush guard that’s obviously meant more to protect from deer collisions. Makes sense. The only thing I’d question is what the load rating on those skinny-ass tires is.
